OUR BELIEFS

TSC is a faith-based nonprofit guided by these beliefs.

  • WE SERVE EVERYONE

These beliefs compel Transform Scott County to serve anyone and everyone, no matter socioeconomic status, race or ethnicity, color or creed, gender, identity, sexuality, religious beliefs… EVERYONE.

We often say we are progressive in our practice but traditional in our beliefs.  These practices and beliefs center on our core mission; a conviction that the local church is God’s conduit to deliver His full reality to the world.  While we may not agree with an individual’s behaviors or decisions, we are committed to do all we can through service, practicing truth in love, and the professing that Jesus Christ came to save us all…"on earth as it is in heaven."

  • PURITY OF GOD'S WORD

Transform Scott County believes in the purity of God’s Holy Word, the activity and power of the Holy Spirit, and the true God nature of Jesus Christ.

  • SALVATION

Transform Scott County believes Jesus came for all people, accepting all through the repentance of sins and the acceptance of His salvation.

  • WORTH & DIGNITY

Transform Scott County believes that all people have worth and are worthy of dignity.

  • GOD-GIVEN GIFTS

Transform Scott County believes all people have God-given, inherent gifts.

How Transformation Happens

1

Ask for Help

The first step is reaching out. Whether you're experiencing financial stress, housing insecurity, or emotional isolation, we’re here to listen without judgment and offer immediate, compassionate support. Our team walks with you to assess your situation and connect you to resources that meet your most pressing needs—because everyone deserves a foundation of hope.

2

Engage

We believe transformation doesn’t happen in isolation. Through programs like Circles® Scott County, Blessing Bridge, and Youth Mentoring, we create a community of support that equips you with tools, training, and encouragement. You’ll be paired with mentors, allies, and volunteers who offer practical guidance and walk with you every step of the way.

3

Transform

As you build confidence, gain stability, and grow through consistent support, the results go far beyond meeting immediate needs. You begin to experience long-term transformation—spiritually, emotionally, and financially. Our ultimate goal is not just crisis relief, but to see individuals and families thrive and become agents of change in their own communities.
